LOC-CAMP Scam

1.0 Background

We, Amsoshi Language Services (https://amlas.amsoshi.com), worked with LOC-CAMP on several translation and proofreading projects. All tasks assigned to us were completed professionally and delivered on time.

2.0 Payment Issues

  1. Problems began in 2023, when LOC-CAMP refused to pay invoices for work completed that same year.
  2. On 23 September 2023, we formally contacted them regarding the unpaid invoices.
  3. As of the time of writing this notice, we have exchanged over 55 emails regarding this complaint.
  4. Throughout this period, LOC-CAMP repeatedly claimed they were experiencing “payment system issues” and consistently promised to pay “next month.”
  5. These promises continued for over one year without resolution.

3.0 Legal Action and Partial Payment

Due to the prolonged non-payment, we engaged legal counsel.

On 9 September 2025, our lawyer formally contacted LOC-CAMP via the following email addresses:

  • finance@loc-camp.com
  • loccamp_team9@loc-camp.com
  • pm@loc-camp.com

LOC-CAMP did not respond to the legal notice.

On 17 November 2025, LOC-CAMP sent only a partial payment and promised to pay the remaining balance in installments. After this partial payment, they stopped responding entirely to our emails and follow-ups.

4.0 Similar Complaints from Other Linguists

On 16 December 2025, we came across a LinkedIn post by another linguist, describing a similar non-payment experience with LOC-CAMP.

We shared this information with some LOC-CAMP staff via WhatsApp. Once again, they promised to settle the outstanding debt, but no further payment was made, and communication ceased.
