MY HUSBAND STOP ME FROM GOING TO THE MASJID

If a woman wants to go to the masjid and her husband stops her, who is she to obey, is it for her to go to the masjid or not?

𝑨𝑵𝑺𝑾𝑬𝑹❗️

Alhamdulillah, if a woman wants to go to the masjid and her husband tells her not to go, she is to obey her husband as going to the masjid for a woman is not obligatory.. it is Sunnah.

Salim narrated it from his father ('Abdullah b. Umar) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

When women ask permission for going to the mosque, do not prevent them.

Sahih Muslim 442 a.

If a woman ask for permission to go to the masjid, one should not prevent her but if her husband does not allow her, she is to obey him as making obedience to him is obligatory..

Even if she is to go to the i'tikaf and her husband objects to it, she should obey him and should not go to i'tikaf.

But a woman is not allowed to prevent the woman from going to the masjid without a reason.

If she observed her proper hijab, does not perfume, then he is to allowed her as doing so is obedience to the Sunnah.

May Allah s.w.t protects and safeguard us to the truth. Amiin
